Resilient Sound Isolation Clip

Regupol® SonusClip™

The Regupol® SonusClip™ is a resilient sound isolation clip used to attach gypsum wall board (GWB) to interior walls and ceilings. Regupol® SonusClip™ is designed to reduce airborne and impact sound transmission. The SonusClip™ can be used in wood, steel, and concrete construction. Each SonusClip™ has a design load rating of 36 lbs. and can support up to two layers of 5/8” gypsum board when spaced no more than 24” x 48” on-center.

Regupol® SonusClip™ DE90

The SonusClip™ DE90 reduces the transmission of airborne and impact noise through walls and ceilings, including wood, steel, and concrete construction. SonusClip™ DE90 are designed to decouple wall framing and ceiling systems. The resilient rubber isolators used in the SonusClip™ DE90, absorb energy and improve STC (airborne) and IIC (impact) acoustic ratings.

Regupol® SonusClip™ SLC

The SonusClip™ SLC is a self-leveling clip that reduces the transmission of airborne and impact noise through ceilings, including wood, steel, and concrete construction. SonusClip™ SLC utilizes a 1/4 in. threaded rod bolt that can be fitted with a number of hangers and bolt lengths that allow for field leveling of the ceiling while increasing the acoustics by decoupling the ceiling system. The resilient rubber isolators used in the SonusClip™ SLC, absorb energy and improve STC (airborne) and IIC (impact) acoustic ratings.

Panelized Floating Floor System

Regupol® SoundPanel™

Regupol® SoundPanel™ is a panelized free-floating subfloor system designed to absorb airborne sound and dissipate structure-borne sound and vibration. Each factory assembled 4′ x 4′ SoundPanel™ consists of a high quality OSB panel, fiberglass batting, and 9 Regupol® SoundPad rubber bearings. Regupol® SoundPanel™ can be used in combination with a floating concrete topping, hardwood, tile, vinyl flooring, and many other assemblies.

Vibration Controls

Regufoam® Vibration

Regufoam® Vibration is a mixed-cell polyurethane foam designed specifically for vibration and structure-borne sound isolation. It is available in 12 unique types, each for a specific load range.

Regufoam® Vibration offers outstanding internal damping and low frequency isolation at minimal deflection. This material comes in standard thicknesses of 25mm (1″) and 12.5mm (1/2″) and can be installed in multiple layers to achieve a thicker total thickness.

Regupol® Vibration

Regupol® Vibration is an acoustical elastomer made of rubber fibers, granules, and polyurethane. It is available in 8 unique types, each engineered for a specific load range. Regupol® Vibration is available in rolls or sheets depending on the type selected.

Regupol® Vibration offers low natural frequencies (f0 ≥ 7.5 Hz), which are constant over wide load ranges. This provides additional reliability when the actual loads differ from the design loads. Regupol® Vibration 200, 300, and 400 have a dimpled underside to decrease dynamic rigidity and provide an air gap for increased performance.

Acoustical Fitness Flooring

Regupol® AkustiPro™

Impacts from dropped weights, sports, treadmills, ellipticals, and rowing machines all create unwanted noise and vibration that can be easily transferred between spaces. Regupol® Acoustics has developed an incredible lineup of acoustical fitness flooring products designed to absorb and prevent the transfer of noise and vibration. These products are suitable for mixed-use buildings such as malls, corporate buildings, hotels, and residences.

Regupol® AkustiPro™ 80 – Is a modular tile system designed for the most demanding applications.
Regupol® AkustiPro™ ML-70 — A multi-layer system that is engineered to fit your specific needs while virtually seamless.

Regupol® Accessories

Regupol® Sill Isolation Pads

Regupol® Sill Isolation Pads provide structure-borne sound isolation for interior walls including wood framed walls, steel framed walls, concrete block walls, and pour walls.

Regupol® Perimeter Isolation Strips

Regupol® Perimeter Isolation Strips reduce the transfer of noise and vibration between adjacent surfaces. Perimeter Isolation Strips decouple floors, walls, columns, pipes, and other protruding object.

Regupol® Sill Isolation Pads

Regupol® 3D Isolation Washers prevent the short-circuiting of acoustical isolation. 3D Isolation Washers reduce noise and vibration from transferring through mechanical fasteners and into the surrounding structure.

Regupol® SoundPad

Regupol® SoundPad is an engineered rubber bearing pad primarily utilized in floating floor assemblies to absorb vibration.

Going Green with Regupol®

Regupol® America is committed to creating a sustainable product across the board, no matter what your installation needs may be. Built from post-consumer recycled rubber and manufactured sustainably, Regupol® products are GreenCircle Certified and can offer LEED points to your building design. We understand that sustainability is not only about material content, which is why our manufacturing facility is in close proximity to the source of our rubber. By eliminating excessive fuel use created through transportation of resources, fossil fuel expenditures are minimized and atmospheric damage reduced. Regupol® America remains a leader in sustainability, continuing to meet the standards of LEED and GreenCircle to promote the health of our business and the environment.

Regupol® products can help a building earn points in many LEED certification categories. In compliance with the recent LEED v4 certification update, Regupol® has met stricter manufacturing standards to earn points for building installations. This includes, though is not limited to, the ability to demonstrate commitment to sustainability with Environmental Product Disclosures verified by a third-party. Regupol® America upholds these revolutionary manufacturing and design processes, which contribute to its recognition by the LEED program. At present, Regupol® products can help buildings receive credit in a total of three different LEED categories

LEED Certifications

In compliance with the recent LEED v4 certification update, Regupol has met stricter manufacturing standards to earn points for building installations. At present, Regupol products can help buildings receive credit in a total of three different LEED categories:

Recycled Material (1-2 points)

  • To qualify, companies must guarantee that 10 to 20 percent of total material value includes post-consumer recycled content
  • Regupol Aktiv product lines are composed of 82 percent recycled tire rubber

Regional Material (1-2 points)

  • Companies must prove that their materials are transported 500 miles or less to complete a project
  • The Regupol manufacturing plant is only 500 yards from the source of its material
  • Projects within 500 miles of the manufacturing facility are in prime position to earn LEED points with Regupol

Minimum Acoustical Performance (Required Prerequisite)

  • In order to achieve further points in this category, companies must first meet the prerequisite as is specified by the elevated LEED v4 standards
  • Specific to school construction, this newly required prerequisite allows companies to earn more points for their installation
  • Products must comply with the requirements specified in the ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 60-2002
  • Spaces outfitted with Regupol Aktiv equal to and greater than 20,000 square feet have a reverberation time of 1.5 second

Enhanced Acoustical Performance (1 point)

  • Spaces designed by companies must meet the Sound Transmission Class (STC) Requirements of ANSI Standard 60-2002, achieving at least level 35
  • Specific to school construction, points earned in this category may be earned at three times the quantity available to a commercial office type setting
  • Regupol Aktiv allows spaces like gymnasiums to have higher STC ratings

(Pilot Credit) Acoustics (1 point)

  • The product design must meet standards of space efficiency, productivity and well-being in a high quality environment
  • Available point gain within the new categories of New Construction and Retail established by LEED v4
  • Regupol can help meet sound reverberation times of 2 seconds in a stadium or gymnasium
