The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute's GREENGUARD Certification Program requires strict test protocols for low emitting indoor materials and monitoring on an ongoing basis.

Lonseal has been awarded GREENGUARD Certification for five (5) of its Products:

  • LonEco
  • LonEco Mesa
  • LonFloor Vista
  • Lonwood Dakota
  • Lonwood Natural

The GREENAIR COLLECTION incorporates all Lonseal products except those manufactured with a UV Urethane factory finish. GREENAIR products are manufactured with the same strict standards as those in the GREENGUARD program. However, these
products have not been certified by a 3rd Party.

Lonseal Sheet Vinyl
All products are constructed with a minimum 35% post-industrial recycled material, contributing to credit under the Green Building Council's LEED standard MR 4.1 Independent Laboratory tests show all Lonseal products outperform other surfaces in tests for indoor air quality and low lifecycle cost - emitting 90% less volatile organic compounds than linoleum and 50% less than rubber.

LonEco & LonEco Mesa
The LonEco series averages 50% recycled materials content from post-industrial recycled vinyl and wood powder. This contributes to credits under the US Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Green Building Standards MR4.1 and MR4.2.
