WHAT YOU AND YOUR CLIENTS NEED TO
UNDERSTAND ABOUT PLYNYL

•  Plynyl must be inspected for defects and flaws before installation. Once material is installed it is considered accepted and approved. Inspection should be within 30 days of delivery.

•  Plynyl has bowing and skewing as one of its natural qualities . This means there is no pattern matching, cuts can not be made following the weave and overall effect of the weaves will not be parallel nor at right angles to itself or walls.

•  Plynyl has a shade variation throughout the material. This is a natural result of the weaving process.

•  Light colors may show very dark seams and require more maintenance. Make certain end-user knows this.

•  Expect to see the seams. Do not expect a monochromatic/monolithic effect. Some weaves have less visible seams than others but do not expect invisible seams.

•  Plynyl must be protected during construction and at moving time.

•  For w2w Product, white 'fuzz' or threads at seams should be cut and the seams sealed. These threads come loose from the core of the yarn. The material is not unraveling nor is wear-ability affected.

•  Plynyl Tiles are 18" x 18" or 2.25 sq. ft. per tile. They are sold by carton, 20 tiles per carton or 45 sq. ft. Cartons cannot be broken.

•  For Tile product, white threads at seams can be cut, but they will break off on their own over time.

•  For Tile product, all colors have a natural light and dark variation.

•  Custom mats wider than 72" will have one seam in middle of mat running length of mat.

•  Plynyl w2w must be rolled 'face-out' if stored. Shag must be rolled 'face-in' if stored.
